They successfully breed many endangered native animals including koalas, fox, potoroos, bettongs, cassowaries, koalas, sugar gliders, possums, wombats, emus, including dingoes, parrots and marsupials and have more than 350 animals, cassowaries, turtles and a large variety of native birds. Cooberrie park is the only wildlife sanctuary in central queensland that takes care of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife; the animals appreciate your support.

Then, 45 years ago animals started to reach and visitors were capable to visit and interact with the wildlife. To this day, Cooberrie Park has adopted the identical ethos inviting visitors to get up accessible and interact with a expansive range of animals. Cooberrie Park is a wildlife sanctuary and takes protection of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife that are then rehabilitated and released back to the wild.
